Thermo/vacuum forming is one of the most common and popular methods of processing plastic materials, due to it being a much more streamlined and economical process in comparison to other methods. 

By using vacuum forming techniques and technology, we’re able to deliver each and every project with high precision and design flexibility, in both a timely and cost effective manner. 

Vacuum forming equipment is initially used to heat the sheet of plastic until it is soft and mouldable. This sheet of plastic is then draped over a pre-prepared mould – often made from durable materials such as aluminium, before the vacuum is then engaged. The vacuum works to remove air and allow the plastic to tighten and take on the shape from the mould. Once the plastic has had time to cool down, any excess plastic is then removed using a CNC Machine and you’re left with your newly moulded piece of plastic.
